The Smoked Bee showcases Gladfield Malt's Manuka Smoked Malt. It has a wonderful sweet floral smokey aroma and flavour sitting on top of layers of light toasty, nutty, caramel and toffee aromas and flavours with hints of dark fruits. It has a beautiful deep red brown colour and finishes medium dry.
Yeast is not included in the kit. We recommend using Froth Buddy (Assumed Origin: Sierra Nevada), or Lallemand's BRY-97 West Coast Ale Yeast. You could also try Safale US-05, Lallemand Nottingham High Performance Ale Yeast, or Mangrove Jack's West Coast Yeast.
You will also require 500g of honey to make this beer. We recommend using a honey with full rich flavour such as bush honey.
