This pack contains a balance of malt, hops and sugars to emulate the particular style of beer. Add this to a regular beer pack. It only takes a few extra minutes. Use in place of dextrose or sugar to produce a fuller bodied, fuller flavoured beer.
Black Rock Liquid Brewing Sugar is ideal for brewing pale or dry beer styles and cider, as well as boosting alcohol content without imparting extra sweetness.
Combine with a Black Rock beer kit and unhopped malt extract to create an imperial style beer.
Ingredients - Maltose Syrup
A milk sugar that is not fully fermentable by beer yeast. Adds body and sweetness to beers such as sweet stouts and milkshake IPA’s.
Add at the end of the boil.
Maltodextrin – Unfermentable Additive for Body and Foam Stability
Maltodextrin is a polysaccharide produced from starch hydrolysis. In home brewing, it functions as a non-fermentable carbohydrate, as standard brewers' yeast strains cannot metabolise it. This property allows brewers to increase final gravity and modify beer texture without affecting alcohol content or adding fermentable sugars.
Key effects on finished beer:
-
Raises final gravity by approximately 0.004 SG per 225 g added to 10 L
-
Increases perceived mouthfeel and beer viscosity
-
Supports foam stability and head retention
-
Contributes no detectable flavour or sweetness (dextrose equivalent < 20)
Usage guidelines:
Add maltodextrin during the last 10–15 minutes of the boil to ensure dissolution and sanitation. For a 20 L batch, a dose of 225g provides a mild increase in body, while 450g delivers a more substantial change in mouthfeel and gravity.
The powder dissolves readily in hot water. For best results mix with a small volume of warm wort or water before adding to the kettle to avoid clumping.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry, airtight container away from moisture, as the powder is hygroscopic. Shelf life is approximately 2 years under proper conditions.

Lightly malted blend of brewing sugars adding flavour to any regular beer kit. Speeds fermentation start. Improves mouthfeel and aids head formation and retention.
For fast, easy bottling. Carbonation Drops take the guess work out of priming your beer & completely replaces priming sugar.
Directions:
- Use 1 drop per 350 ml
- Use 2 drops per 750 ml
- Use 3 drops per 1.25 L
- Use 4 drops per 2 L
Ingredients: sugar, glucose syrup (from maize)
Dextrose brewing sugar, also referred to as corn sugar, is a naturally occurring form of glucose. Use dextrose instead of white sugar in either your fermentation or priming your beer when bottling. Dextrose is quicker to dissolve than white sugar and 100% fermentable.
