A Pot Condenser is used when you want the flavour of the wash to come through. For instance, if you ferment fruit or grains, it will allow some of that flavour to enter your distillate. If you use a reflux condenser, such as the Pure Distilling Reflux Condenser, you would just end up with pure, unflavoured alcohol. Instructions: Pot Condenser Copper instructions
The Pure Distilling Alembic Dome is made from 99.7% copper and is double the weight of competitors! The dome fits on top of your boiler, used in place of the boiler lid.
The Pure Distilling Alembic Dome increases copper contact in the distilling process, capturing more sulphites and resulting in a higher quality product. The dome is designed for use with the Pot Condenser and perfect for pairing with our Proofing Parrot!
Fit boilers with a 310mm-312mm diameter.
The diameter of the hole at the top of the dome is 60mm.
The Proofing Parrot Kit is all copper construction with a water cooling coil which brings the output spirit temperature to around 20 degrees, allowing for continuous alchometer readings without having to do corrections. Comes with hoses and connectors and a “perch” to mount the Proofing Parrot Kit onto the boiler. If using an extension or Sightglass mount the perch so it rises or sits up from the boiler, if using just the pot or reflux condenser mount the perch the other way round so it follows the line of the boiler lid, see the photos for examples.
Connect water to the Parrot first, then use the supplied hose and fittings to connect to the pot or reflux condenser. Only insert the alcometer once Parrot is full of spirit, and flowing out the spout.

Still Spirits Boiler with Still Spirits CREATE+ Alembic Dome and Condenser (tri-clamp).
Unlike reflux stills that are engineered to strip flavour to produce clean, neutral spirits, the large copper surface area of this pot still enables it to carry over the distinct flavours and aromas of a wash into the final product, creating a full-flavoured spirit. This makes it ideal for creating flavoursome spirits like whiskey, bourbon, rum, and gin. This set up is also suitable for distilling water and hydrosols.
This T500 Boiler features two power switches. When both switches are on, the element will be supplied full power of 2200W for 220V units, or 1600W for 120V units. You can lower this to 1100W by switching one of the two switches off (220V unit) or by switching off the 500W switch (120V unit). This can be extremely useful when distilling dark spirits such as Whiskey, Rum and Bourbon as you are able to now control the amount of power and have a gentler boil for your final spirit runs.

Made from 304 grade stainless steel, this boiler features dual element control switches, a stainless steel ball valve tap and an automatic reset switch. The dual element control switches provide more control during distillation - when both switches are in the ON position, the element will be supplied full power of 2200W (1600 if using a US/CA unit). When one switch is in the OFF position, it will only consume 1100W (or 1100W/500W if using a US/CA unit) of power. Adjusting the power can be useful in areas with warmer tap water for cooling and for use with the Alembic Pot Still.
Note: This product includes a Still Spirits Create+ Threaded Adapter Set and 2" Tri-clamp inside the Still Spirits Boiler 25 L box. They are for use with tri-clamp connection condensers and are not required for condensers with a threaded connection.
