Crisp and highly aromatic the ATF Cold Session IPA showcases a vivid blend of hop character supported by a clean, light body and lager crispness.
The aroma is a bright and inviting mix of tropical and citrus notes. You’ll find ripe passionfruit, peach, and pineapple layered with the distinctive zest of grapefruit and tangelo. This fruity bouquet is complemented by a fresh pine character.
On the palate, the flavour mirrors the aromatic promise. Juicy tropical fruit and strong citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon-lime lead the way, supported by a subtle, resinous fruit quality. The experience finishes clean, dry, and refreshingly crisp.
Yeast is not included in the kit. If fermenting cold we recommend using Fermentis SafLager SH-45. The ideal Lager yeast to enhance hop thiol release, crafting beers with enhanced levels of fruitiness and intensified citrus and tropical notes
Alternatively we recommend using Fermentis SafLager W-34/70 or Lallemand Diamond Lager Yeast.
If fermenting warm we still recommend using Fermentis SafLager SH-45.(max 18℃) or:
- Fermentis SafLager W-34/70 (18℃), or
- Lallemand NovaLager (max 20℃), or
- Mangrove Jack's Versa Lager (max 20℃), or
- Mangrove Jack's Californian Lager Yeast (max 20℃).
