ATF Extract Recipe - Best Bitters

Introducing the ATF Extract Best Bitter, a timeless ale crafted to honour the heritage of British brewing. This elegant, sessionable beer (4.3% ABV) pours an inviting light reddish-brown hue, reminiscent of polished mahogany kissed by autumn sunlight. Using Muntons Maris Otter extract for a robust yet balanced malt backbone, it delivers notes of caramelised biscuit, toasted bread, and a subtle nutty sweetness. The beer is delicately hopped with quintessential English varieties — East Kent Goldings and Fuggles — imparting earthy, floral aromas and a gentle, refined bitterness that harmonises with the malt, while a smooth, medium-light body ensure effortless drinkability. Perfectly balanced it pairs beautifully with hearty pies, sharp cheddar, or quiet contemplation by the fireside. Tradition in every sip.

This kit includes malt and hops that require steeping.

Yeast is not included in the kit. We recommend using Mangrove Jack's Liberty Bell Yeast, or you could also try Lallemand Verdant IPA.
