ATF Berliner Weisse - Grainfather | Brewzilla
$26.90
Unit price perBerliner Weisse is a refreshing low alcohol beer with a pleasant tartness that originated in Germany. A great summer beer that was once called the champagne of the north and is often served with a flavoured syrup such as Woodruff or raspberry.
The ATF Berliner Weisse's acidity/sourness is provided by WildBrew Philly Sour yeast, a unique yeast that primarily produces lactic acid during the initial phase of fermentation before switching over to ethanol production. This allows this beer to produced without the need for kettle souring.
Yeast is not included in the kit. We recommend using Lallemand Wildbrew™ Philly Sour Yeast.
