Instructions:

- Put the second mesh filter on the top of the sight glass.
- Using a 2” tri-clamp connect the top of the sight glass to your condensing set up.

Cleaning: Clean with warm water and a suitable brewery cleaner. Using a pipe brush, clean away all residual oils on the glass. Disassembly should only be required if heavy soiling around the silicone components exists. Sanitation is not needed in this application.

Still Spirits Boiler with Still Spirits CREATE+ Alembic Dome and Condenser (tri-clamp).
Unlike reflux stills that are engineered to strip flavour to produce clean, neutral spirits, the large copper surface area of this pot still enables it to carry over the distinct flavours and aromas of a wash into the final product, creating a full-flavoured spirit. This makes it ideal for creating flavoursome spirits like whiskey, bourbon, rum, and gin. This set up is also suitable for distilling water and hydrosols.
This T500 Boiler features two power switches. When both switches are on, the element will be supplied full power of 2200W for 220V units, or 1600W for 120V units. You can lower this to 1100W by switching one of the two switches off (220V unit) or by switching off the 500W switch (120V unit). This can be extremely useful when distilling dark spirits such as Whiskey, Rum and Bourbon as you are able to now control the amount of power and have a gentler boil for your final spirit runs.

The Create+ Voltage Controller allows for better control of cuts during a spirit run. Reducing the heat input using the voltage controller will allow for a slower controlled distillation; this makes it easier to distinguish between heads, hearts and tails. Especially useful during pot distillation or vapour infusion spirit runs.
It also allows for the ability to then increase heat input as the distillate output slows towards the end of a run. This is especially useful towards the end of a pot distillation run during the ‘tails’ of a spirit run.

The T500 Boiler is the recommended boiler base for use with the T500 Reflux Condensers and Alembic Dome & Condenser. Made from 304 grade stainless steel, this boiler features dual element control switches, a stainless steel ball valve tap and an automatic reset switch. The dual element control switches provide more control during distillation - when both switches are in the ON position, the element will be supplied full power of 2200W (1600 if using a US/CA unit). When one switch is in the OFF position, it will only consume 1100W (or 1100W/500W if using a US/CA unit) of power. Adjusting the power can be useful in areas with warmer tap water for cooling and for use with the Alembic Pot Still.
