Developed by Hopunion LLC in 2010, Falconer’s Flight® hop pellets are an exclusive proprietary hop blend created to honour and support the legacy of Northwest brewing legend, Glen Hay Falconer. These hop pellets are an excellent complement to many IPA and Pale Ale-oriented hop varieties.

The blend offers a harmonious medley of distinct citrus, stone fruit, and tropical characteristics, grounded in a woody and herbal tone. Falconer’s Flight adds layers of depth and Pacific Northwest-style complexity to any beer, enriching its overall sensory experience. Specific aroma descriptors include distinct tropical, floral, lemon and grapefruit characteristics.  

AROMA PROFILE: CITRUS, HERBAL, STONEFRUIT, LEMON, TROPICAL

This golden West Coast IPA has a fresh, clean mouthfeel and medium bitterness from the hopped ale malts, followed by a delicious stonefruit, citrus finish from the Mosaic dry-hopping. This Craft Beer Kit comes complete with American Ale Yeast and Mosaic dry hop pellets.

For a West Coast IPA, we recommend you add 1.5kg Brick Road Light malt extract plus 1kg Brick Road Light Dry malt extract (or 1kg dextrose). For even more citrus or fruity aroma and flavour, add up to 200g of hops like Centennial, Cascade, Citra, Amarillo, Galaxy, Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin or Motueka. For more piney notes add Columbus or Tomahawk.

We recommend you use 1.5kg Brick Road Light malt extract, plus 1.5kg Brick DME Road Light (or 1kg of dextrose).

For a lower strength IPA we recommend using 1.5kg Brick Road Light malt extract.

For a session IPA we recommend using 1kg Brick Road DME Light.

Optional Extra Hop Additions: For even more cirtus or fruity aroma and flavour, add up to 200g of hops like Centennial, Cascade, Citra, Amarillo, Galaxy, Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin or Motueka. For more piney notes add Columbus or Tomahawk.

Alternate Yeast Options: US-05, BRY-97, WLP001 California Ale, 1056 American Ale or other clean, highly attenuating American Ale yeasts.
