Speciality Malt
Crystal Wheat is a challenging malt to make in the roaster. The wheat grain has no husk so as you saccharify the grain in the roaster the risk of sticking to the roaster drum is high so Doug and the team carefully play with temperatures on the roaster to allow almost 100% saccharification without compromising the flavours and most importantly the roaster!
This is a limited edition, but the team are happy to replicate it if the demand is there for this malt.
Recommending at a ratio of 10% on a Saison would be our pick. Also, this malt would complement beer styles like Witbier and Berliner Weisse. But let's not be limited to these styles, let's experiment with any style you see fit, because, why not!?
Rate: Up to 25% but as with all Wheat consider adding a few oat hulls as the ratio increases to assist lautering efficiency.

A dual purpose / bittering hop with a spicy “dried fruit” character and solid finish.
Breeding:
A triploid aroma type developed through by New Zealand’s Plant & Food Research. Pacifica™ Brand 77-01 was bred through the open pollination of the highly regarded Hallertauer Mittlefru¨h variety. Pacifica™ was released on completion of successful brewing trials in 1994.
Selection:
Pacifica™ displays classic Hallertau citrus and floral aroma character which selectors mark as a real standout. The aroma is supported by a generous oils profile making selection possible for several beer styles from this stylish hop.
Brewing:
Pacifica™ brings something of a blend of new and old-world taste descriptors to the brewers' forum. Orange marmalade aptly describes the citrus aroma notes achieved through late addition. Bittering quality is such that early kettle additions net a soft yet solid finish even in highly bittered beers.
Applications:
Finds application where a higher oil concentration and proportion of Linalool are required to impact on how the hop character integrates into the final product. Ideally suited to traditional German lager styles and finding wider application to a new generation through the international craft market’s insatiable thirst for Pale Ale.

A sour beer is notoriously hard to brew at home. With the style gaining in popularity, Muntons took on the challenge to make it accessible to home brewers. Using a careful blend of ingredients, Muntons Sour Malt Extract is the perfect base for you to create an authentic fruit flavoured sour beer. Use this speciality malt extract to make a wort or blend it in with your all grain brew and make your own unique beer.
Brick Road Light Malt makes great-tasting beer with Brick Road beer kits, or with Brick Road Hopped Malt extract cans, or in all-grain recipes when you want only the finest malt flavour.
This can will contribute a light-gold colour up to 8 EBC in 23L, 1.021 gravity points and will replace approx. 1.75 kg of light base grain in your wort. Light Malt is particularly good for IPA’s and Pale Ales.

Styrian Golding (Celeia) is a descendant of English-grown Fuggle hops that has developed a more delicate, “continental” profile.
Invitingly earthy and resinous as befits its Fuggle background along with a citrus character, but with a more refined and restrained nature. When used in a hopback or as a dry hop, look for heightened floral and sweet spice.
Styrian Golding Celeia can be used for light bittering duty in a number of styles but shines as a late kettle or dry hop for English bitter and pale ale, mild, brown ale, as well as a wide array of Belgian styles.

- 125g Gladfield Medium Crystal
- 125g Gladfield Dark Crystal
- 250g Gladfield Eclipse Wheat
- Steep & dry hops (vacuum sealed in oxygen barrier foil pouch) - 22g Amarillo, 22g Citra.

Brick Road Hopped Light DME is suitable for all beer, but especially light lagers, pilsners, pale ales and IPA's. For the best-tasting all-malt beer, mix well with water and your favourite yeast and Brick Road unhopped Malt extract cans (or Brick Road Dry Malt Extract, or dextrose).
When mixed to 23L, this pack will contribute a light gold colour up to 8 EBC, and a low-medium bitterness of 23 IBU and 1.017 gravity points. You can also use it in all-grain recipes when you want only the finest hopped malt flavour. It will replace approx. 1.34 kg of light base grain and bittering hops in your wort.
