The Grainfather GCA Glycol Chiller Adapter is designed to expand on the capabilities of the Grainfather GC2 or GC4 Glycol Chillers, by allowing almost any fermenter on the market to be connected and temperature controlled - including most plastic bucket fermenters.
The GCA works in a similar way to the Conical Fermenter Pro but instead of the built-in cooling sleeve and heating element, it uses a stainless steel cooling coil and a heating pad to control the temperature of almost any fermenter.
The cooling coil is connected to the Glycol Chiller and immersed in the fermenter. The heating pad is attached to the side of the fermenter using hook and loop tape. A temperature probe is also attached to the fermenter and the GCA will then regulate the cooling, or heating, as required.
The GCA connects to the Grainfather App so you can control your fermentation temperature on the go.
Note: Does not include Cooling Coil and Fixtures

Temperature control is one of the most crucial elements for producing a good quality beer. It needs to be regulated and stable throughout the whole fermentation process to ensure the yeast doesn't get stressed and ferments correctly to get the right flavour profile.
To be able to cool with the Grainfather Conical Fermenter, you need to have the Conical Fermenter Temperature Controller. Then once your target temperature is below the temperature of the wort in your fermenter the Cooling Pump Kit pumps ice cold water through the double walled insulated interior to cool down your wort.
Simply connect the couplers and insulated hoses to the Conical Fermenter, submerge the submersible pump into a cooler box with water (add ice for your required temperature) and pump the liquid through the insulated cooling sleeve of the Conical Fermenter body.
Whats Included
Conical Fermenter Cooling Pump (submersible)
T-section power connector
2 x brass couplers
Specifications
Rated 12 VDC – 4.8 Watts
The Grainfather digital Temperature Controller replaces the temperature display. With this you can control the heating and the cooling (if you have the Grainfather Glycol Chiller) of your fermenter by dialing in a temperature or even setting a temperature schedule (can set up to 5 stages). This snaps on easily via magnets and pogo pins with no extra cords or clutter.

Dual Valve Tap with 110 mm (4.3”) liquid inlet for the Grainfather conical fermenter.Make the yeast dumping, transferring and sampling process more professional with this innovative all in one valve. Can be completely disassembled for thorough cleaning
This longer version of the standard Conical Fermenter Dual Valve inlet provides increased clearance above the sediment line for clear, sediment free sampling and racking of your beer.
This is best to be used when you have an increased trub level i.e. if you are fermenting fruit beers or brews with a large quantity of dry hops.

The Grainfather counterflow chiller is used after boiling the wort to cool it down fermentation temperature. The counterflow does this by acting as a heat exchange between the wort and water from your tap as you transfer the wort from your boil kettle to your fermenter. Because this is a one-step process of transferring and cooling, it is more efficient and more sanitary than immersion chillers, and the curved design allows for similar performance to plate chillers without the crevasses that can make cleaning painful.
Features
- One step transferring and cooling
- Fast cooling time to within 3C of source water temperature.
- More sanitary transferring
- Copper inner coil for high heat exchange
- Compatible with a range of brewing systems
Includes
- Counterflow chiller
- G30 connector
- 9mm right angle hose barb connector for G40, G70 and other brew systems
- Tap adapter set for connection to garden hoses and most faucets
Specifications
- Copper inner coil
- 9mm ID inlet and outlet hoses
- Colour coded hoses for inlet and outlet water
The Electric Grain Mill is motorised, compact and easy to use at home. It’s equipped with large, fluted rollers that crack the outer husk of the grain longitudinally, providing optimal surface area for your mash and a better filter bed for your sparge.
The removable grain hopper holds up to 1kg of grain at a time and with 10 easily adjustable gap settings, ranging from 0.8mm to 2mm, this mill has been engineered to crush a variety of grains. Crush different base malts and specialty grains, and even change the rate that your grain is crushed with the variable speed dial.
It’s easy to mount onto a workbench or bucket, but it works best with the Grain Mill Bamboo Mounting Board. Plus, the mill is easy to assemble thanks to its built-in motor and compact design. Simply attach the grain hopper. Set your desired gap setting by pulling the spring-loaded pin and rotating the dial. Add grain to the hopper and flick the switch to begin crushing.
Now you can create fresher batches of beer by bulk buying your own grain and crushing it at home, just before you brew.
Specifications
- Voltage: 220 - 240V
- Frequency: 50Hz
- Power: 400W
- Rollers: 58mm diameter and made of hardened stainless steel with a flute design that’s akin to commercial grain mills
- 10 mill gap settings: 0.8mm - 2mm
