English Porter is a moderate-strength brown beer with a restrained roasted character and bitterness. It may have a range of roasted flavours, generally without burnt qualities, and often has a chocolate-caramel-malty profile.
The ATF English Porter has a pleasant mild roasted coffee and cacao character with underlying biscuity dryness and rich dark caramel/toffee flavours. This is balanced nicely by a restrained bitterness and floral, spicy hop character with hints of floral honey..
Whilst it has a full mouthfeel it finishes medium dry making it very drinkable.
Yeast is not included in the kit. We recommend using Mangrove Jack's Liberty Bell yeast or SafAle S-04.
