This pack contains a balance of malt, hops and sugars to emulate the particular style of beer. Add this to a regular beer pack. It only takes a few extra minutes. Use in place of dextrose or sugar to produce a fuller bodied, fuller flavoured beer.
Base Malt
Newly developed from an old world style malt, our German Pilsner Malt is the perfect base to use with Ales and Lagers. We start with high nitrogen, plump spring barley that goes through our traditional long germination process, followed by a light kilning. This malt is designed to lauter well as well as provide a solid extract. It also allows the brewer to add in flavour and manipulate the final result. We call it here at the maltings, the ‘marshmallow malt’, sweet but no flavour. The higher protein barley will maintain a lot of medium chain proteins that provide both body and head retention. The flavour of this malt is crisp, clean and refreshing with a lovely pale straw colour. Recommend to use this malt when brewers are looking for a clean, non‑biscuity flavour to the finish of the beer.
Use: Base malt for any beer style, light in colour with a clean sweet flavour.

Lager Light Malt has been subjected to a gentler kilning cycle so that a lower coloured base malt is produced. This malt is made especially for brewing an all malt lager where a light colour is desirable. ATF Wicked Weed has an intoxicating aroma of passionfruit going head to head with apricot and orchard fruits with citrus notes peaking through. A cacophony of flavour carried by a full malt base that provides a great platform for the hops to be the star of the show.
Yeast is not included in the kit. We recommend using Froth Vape (Assumed Origin: Boddington’s) to produce a juicy hazy with a silky mouthfeel and great hop aroma and flavour.
Alternatively we recommend using Verdant IPA. Lallemand’s Verdant IPA yeast. LalBrew Verdant IPA yeast will produce fruity esters and is well suited to NEIPA’s. Verdant IPA yeast expresses high amounts of β-lyase enzyme promoting biotransformation accentuating hop flavour and aroma. and also produces high amounts of glycerol producing a beer with a silky mouthfeel.
You could also try Froth Spectra (Assumed Origin: Unknown (London)).Spectra can produce a spectrum of radiant flavour & aroma while exhibiting an elegant ester profile and velvety mouthfeel.
Alternatively you could use Lallemand's New England yeast. Lallemand New England produces beers with a unique fruit forward ester profile, which is sought after in NEIPA's. Through expression of a β-glucosidase enzyme, LalBrew® New England can promote hop biotransformation and accentuate hop flavour and aroma.
Please Note: Kettle finings are not provided with this kit as beer clarity is not required for this style of beer.

This famous yeast strain from Weihenstephan in Germany is used world-wide within the brewing industry. SafLager W-34/70 allows you to brew beers with a good balance of floral and fruity aromas and gives clean flavours and high drinkable beers.
Sensory analysis performed by Fermentis shows that SafLager W-34/70 is a very robust, stable and neutral yeast capable of producing high quality lagers at fermentation temperatures as high as 20℃.
FERMENTATION: ideally 12-15°C
REHYDRATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Sprinkle the yeast in minimum 10 times its weight of sterile water or wort at 21 to 25 °C (70°F to 77°F). Leave to rest 15 to 30 minutes. Gently stir for 30 minutes, and pitch the resultant cream into the fermentation vessel.
Alternatively, pitch the yeast directly in the fermentation vessel providing the temperature of the wort is above 20°C (68°F). Progressively sprinkle the dry yeast into the wort ensuring the yeast covers all the surface of wort available in order to avoid clumps. Leave for 30 minutes, then mix the wort using aeration or by wort addition.

Speciality Malt
Toffee Malt is a unique malt made by Gladfield Malt. We make this unique malt by taking a lower to mid-range nitrogen winter or autumn barley variety, roasting the resulting malt at very low temperatures, and then caramelise the malt. The low temperature and slower roasting produces a malt with a very light colour, a chewy consistency, with honey or toffee flavours.
Our Toffee Malt is very popular. Not only does it add a wonderful malty, honey toffee flavour to lighter coloured beers but it also enhances beer stability, body and mouth feel. Because of its high moisture content, we recommend that brewers mill the Toffee Malt mixed with other malts to avoid clogging the malt mill.
Use: Toffee Malt adds toffee and honey flavours and has a low colour impact.

Panhead Supercharger is an award winning beer that is extremely popular. Panhead describes the beer as follows:
Hops are where it starts for the born-again craft head and Supercharger APA is where Panhead delivers. This is an all-American show with Centennial, Citra and Simcoe overwhelming your nose, kicking you in the taste buds and departing with more bitterness than a Palm Springs divorce. It's a seriously addictive combination.
The ATF Supercharger Clone is our recipe to replicate this much loved beer.
Yeast is not included in the kit. We recommend using Froth Buddy (Assumed Origin: Sierra Nevada), or Lallemand's BRY-97 West Coast Ale Yeast. You could also try Safale US-05, Lallemand Nottingham High Performance Ale Yeast, or Mangrove Jack's West Coast Yeast.
This recipe employs whirlpool hopping at a set temperature of 65℃ for 60 minutes. If you are unable to maintain a 65℃ whirlpool for 60 minutes you may wish to try the hop burst version.
