For the perfect pour, every pour, you need Ultratap.
From the inventor for the original Ventmatic (Intertap) range of tap products comes the next generation design technology that will provide you with the ultimate laminar flow experience to date.
Ultratap is the best way for your friends and customers to see your beverages being served with the most "wow factor". This tap dispenses a truly stunning pour with ease.
Ultratap’s patented all stainless steel construction utilizes 21st century, laser-precision manufacturing techniques ensure your beer meets the glass in perfect condition, every time.
Ultratap’s strength is in its simplicity. It has fewer parts and a solid, all stainless steel construction, compared to other forward sealing taps.
The secret lies within Ultratap’s unique internal surface which minimises micro eddies in the flow of the liquids with dissolved gasses before it reaches the atmosphere, gliding perfectly into your glass.
Ultratap’s forward sealing function keeps your beer fresher and will not leave a residue that will affect the tap’s performance.
For the true laminar experience look for Ultratap wherever great beer flows.
Includes a free black slender tap handle.
Note: This item is the tap & handle only.
Originating from the Hürlimann brewery in Switzerland. This lager strain’s attenuation profile allows you to brew fairly neutral flavour beers with a high drinkability.
FERMENTATION: ideally 12-15°C
REHYDRATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Sprinkle the yeast in minimum 10 times its weight of sterile water or wort at 25 to 29°C (77°F to 84°F).
Leave to rest 15 to 30 minutes.
Gently stir for 30 minutes, and pitch the resultant cream into the fermentation vessel.
Alternatively, pitch the yeast directly in the fermentation vessel providing the temperature of the wort is above 20°C (68°F). Progressively sprinkle the dry yeast into the wort ensuring the yeast covers all the surface of wort available in order to avoid clumps. Leave for 30 minutes, then mix the wort using aeration or by wort addition.
Refer to the technical data sheet for more information.

Instructions
-
Clean and sanitise fermenter, spoon, cup and jug.

Soften the malt cans in hot water for about 5 minutes.
-
Pour 2 litres of boiling water into your 5L jug. Open the cans and pour the contents into the jug. Add the 300g of lactose.

Mix the concentrated wort and water well, then pour into your fermenter. Top up with cold quality brewing water to 19L for approx. 5.3% ABV. Vigourously stir the wort with a large spoon to oxygenate it. Ensure the wort temperature is 18℃-22℃. Sprinkle the yeast over the wort.

Seal the fermenter lid and insert airlock. Ideally ferment at 18℃-22℃ for 10 - 14 days.
-
On Day 3 of fermentation, add half the hops. Ideally add inside a hop bag and remove after 48 hours. Repeat with the remaining hops on Day 5.

Brick Road Red Ale: A Rich & Malty Amber Ale
Discover the satisfying depth of an amber ale with our Red Ale brewing kit. This beautifully balanced beer features inviting caramel and toffee malt flavours that lead to a slightly dry, clean finish. Perfect for those who appreciate a malt-forward character with just enough hop balance.
What You'll Brew:
-
Aroma & Flavour: A rich malt profile with notes of caramel and toffee, balanced by a medium hop bitterness that leads to a slightly dry finish.
-
Appearance: A beautiful amber-red colour, clear and brilliant.
-
Character: Smooth, malt-forward, and exceptionally drinkable. A perfectly balanced ale that satisfies without being heavy.
Your Brewing Journey, Made Simple:
This all-in-one can contains our exceptional hopped wort—the foundation of your great beer. Just follow these steps for a rich, flavourful Red Ale:
-
Mix & Make it Your Own: Empty the contents of the can into your fermenter. Add about 3 litres of hot water and stir thoroughly to dissolve the concentrated wort. Then, add your 1kg of brewing sugar (dextrose) and stir again until fully dissolved. Finally, top up the fermenter with cold water to reach the 23-litre mark.
-
Pitch & Ferment: Sprinkle in the included Ale Yeast. Seal your fermenter and place it in a stable, room-temperature environment (around 18-22°C). The active fermentation will typically be complete within 3 to 7 days. You'll know it's slowing down when the vigorous bubbling in the airlock subsides.
-
Dry Hop (Optional) & Condition:
While this malty beer is delicious as-is, you can add subtle complexity with dry hopping. If choosing to do so, add hops (15g recommended) just as the active fermentation is finishing (e.g., around days 3-5). Traditional varieties like East Kent Goldings or Fuggles will add nice sweet, floral, and spicy notes.
After any dry hop addition, allow the beer to condition for another 3 to 7 days. This gives the yeast time to "clean up" and allows the particles to settle. -
Carbonate & Enjoy: Once conditioning is complete, bottle your beer with carbonation drops. Store the bottles at room temperature for 1-2 weeks to allow for natural carbonation before chilling and enjoying your fresh, homebrewed Red Ale.
Approximate Specifications (for 23L batch with 1kg dextrose):
-
ABV Range: Brew it as a sessionable Low (2.6%) or a classic Mid (4.8%) strength.
-
Colour: Amber Red (20 EBC)
-
Bitterness: Medium (27 IBU)
-
Original Gravity (OG): 1.038
-
Final Gravity (FG): 1.008 (approx.)

Sabro™ is an aroma hop that is notable for its complexity of fruity and citrus flavours. Sabro's pedigree is the result of a unique cross pollination of a female neomexicanus hop. With a robust brewing performance, Sabro™ proves to be a strongly expressive hop that translates its flavour incredibly well into beer.
AROMA PROFILE: CITRUS, COCONUT, HERBAL, STONE FRUIT, TROPICAL FRUIT
Styrian Golding (Celeia) is a descendant of English-grown Fuggle hops that has developed a more delicate, “continental” profile.
Invitingly earthy and resinous as befits its Fuggle background along with a citrus character, but with a more refined and restrained nature. When used in a hopback or as a dry hop, look for heightened floral and sweet spice.
Styrian Golding Celeia can be used for light bittering duty in a number of styles but shines as a late kettle or dry hop for English bitter and pale ale, mild, brown ale, as well as a wide array of Belgian styles.
Bursting with juicy pineapple and tropical notes, this dual-purpose hop has been featured in many great beers since its release in 2010. Big Alpha Acids (13-17%) make this an effective and efficient bittering hop, but can be used in late additions to maximise the fresh, fruity aroma and flavour. El Dorado® is an exceptional new dual-purpose hop with both high Alpha Acid and intense flavours and aromas. As a bittering hop, El Dorado® lends a firm but balanced bitterness. When used in later additions, El Dorado® brings bright tropical fruit flavours and aromas of pineapple, pear, watermelon, and stone fruit.
AROMA PROFILE: CITRUS, STONE FRUIT, TROPICAL, WOODY
Warrior® hops have become the go-to bittering hop (Alpha Acid 15-18%) for many craft and commercial breweries across America.
It is a high alpha hop with a very mild aroma and contributes a balanced flavour, which is primarily used for its mild, clean bittering properties.
Its high myrcene oil content contributes to its piney and zesty character when used late.
AROMA PROFILE: CITRUS, GRASSY, HERBAL, STONE FRUIT, WOODY
