This adapter allows a SodaStream cylinder to attach to a CO2 regulator for your kegging set up. It is ideal for low volume CO2 use and avoids renting or purchasing a larger CO2 cylinder. This is the deluxe version, with pin adjustment which makes the SodaStream cylinder adaptor significantly easier to use.

Normal SodaStream adaptors require an alan key to adjust the pin height and depending on how worn out your seal is you may need to adjust this pin periodically and it may leak gas when connecting and disconnecting from your regulator. This new SodaStream adaptor is significant better designed with the handy thumb screw on the side of the unit allowing you to eliminate cumbersome adjustment and it also gives you the ability to turn off and on the gas flow.

This adaptor is used if you have a SodaStream Cylinder and wish to use a conventional Type 30 Regulator with it, perhaps for bbq or a picnic and you don't want to carry your 4.5kg or 2.6kg Gas Cylinder, as it will enable you to make a handy portable system.

This easy to use SodaStream Cylinder Filling Adaptor will enable you to fill your own CO2 from your larger bulk cylinder into smaller SodaStream cylinders. An easy and inexpensive way to fill your own Sodastream Cylinders at home at a fraction of the cost of getting the refills from your local store.

Note: Does not fit or work with the latest Sodastream cylinders, only older cylinders. The CO2 Cylinder and Sodastream cylinder in the photos is not included.

When using, be sure to following these important points:

1. That the seals goes in the correct location. So when the SodaStream Filling Adaptor arrives, please make sure to use the correct seal in the correct side.

2. Make sure to put the Sodastream cylinder on the correct side. The SodaStream cylinder thread can actually fit both sides of this adaptor, but the CO2 cylinder only fit's into the ROUND SIDE. As a result you MUST put the Sodastream cylinder into the HEXAGONAL SIDE. (as shown in image)

Brew Bucket Pure Flow Valve

The star of the Brew Bucket 2.0 is the new Brew Bucket Pure Flow Valve. This valve uses the Pure Flow technology, originally developed for the line of professional brewhouses. The removable silicone membrane of the valve provides a sanitary environment where beer makes contact with nothing except silicone. Additionally, there is a moulded the racking arm geometry into the valve’s silicone diaphragm to provide a seamless flow path for beer when transferring from the Brew Bucket 2.0.

Sanitary Connection

The valve attaches to the Brew Bucket using a welded external garden hose thread fitting that allows for a compact, easy-to-use connection without the need to fumble with additional clamps and gaskets. The threads are located externally and sealed by the gaskets built into our Pure Flow silicone, keeping them clean and sanitary. With the new valve design, the brewer can fully rotate the racking arm 360 degrees for maximum control while racking a finished beer.

Conical Base

The Brew Bucket 2.0 continues what made the original a great solution for home brewers. The pro-inspired conical base helps minimize trub interaction with fermented beer, thus limiting any concerns of off flavours produced during maturation. Combined with the rotatable racking arm, brewers can effortlessly rack off clean beer like the pros do in craft breweries.

Full Width Lid

The Brew Bucket 2.0 features the same full-width removable lid as the original, with a wide access opening that makes cleaning and sanitizing a breeze. Finally, the included thermowell has been repositioned to the lid, and the increased length allows for accurate readings, even when brewing partial batches.

Ss Brewtech recommends using Trisodium Phosphate (TSP) (sold separately) for initial cleaning to remove oils, grease and any manufacturing residue.

This hose fitting is made of stainless steel and connects three lengths of hose in a branch tee. The barbed fittings create a tight seal on flexible and semi-rigid hose when used with a hose clamp such as a stepless clamp. 

Bore sizes usually available:
- 6.35mm (1/4")
- 4.76mm (3/16")

A stainless steel immersion chiller is a great piece of equipment for all-grain and extract brewers to cool the wort at the end of the boil. It is immersed into the boiling wort at least 10 minutes before the end of the boil (this will help to sanitise the chiller, although it should be clean before being used) and attached to a cold water source.

When ready to cool the wort, turn on the cold water and it will flow through the immersion chiller and cool the wort.

To increase the rate at which the wort cools you can stir the wort to create a whirlpool. This will cause more of the wort to come into contact with the chiller and cool the wort faster. Make sure to sanitise whatever you use to stir the wort.

You could also use a pump (such as the MKII 25w High Temp Magnetic Pump) to create a whirlpool immersion chiller; made popular by award winning American home brewer Jamil Zainasheff. Here is a link to Jamil's site, Mr Malty, with more details.

An immersion chiller can also be used to pre-chill the cooling water. Just submerge the immersion chiller in an ice bath to to pre-chill the water that ultimately flows into another immersion chiller in the wort. This can be particularly helpful during summer when the groundwater temperature increases.

A quality mash paddle is an essential piece of equipment for all-grain brewers. 

This high quality stainless steel mash paddle is approximately 61cm long and will make stirring the mash and avoiding dough balls a much simpler task. Avoiding the formation of dough balls during the mash is important to ensure the full extract potential of the mash is achieved.
