Why use Double O-rings?

What is EPDM?
EPDM = Ethylene Propylene Rubber which has excellent chemical resistance including being compatible with ozone, oils, a wide variety of alkaline and acid compounds, water, alcohol, ketone, and beverages.
EPDM is also resistant to aging, and weather and will not perish easily like other rubber compounds. When compared with silicon and vinyl EPDM has better gas transmission rates, better wear resistance, is BPA free and is the number one choice for many long-lasting food grade applications.

The BlowTie Diaphram Spunding Valve - a great tool if you want to control the pressure retained in a pressure vessel that is releasing pressure. It has been designed for simplicity and ease of putting together. Many brewers use this spunding valve in combination with the FermZilla pressure rated fermenters.
This is the new "BlowTie 2" upgarded model which has the integrated pressure gauge. The adjustment knob on the top of the unit makes it easy to increase and decrease the set pressure. This BlowTie unit can be easily disassembled for cleaning using a screw driver. Designed to suit 8mm (5/16") tubing. It's compatible with both the 4mm ID Tubing or 5mm ID.

Pressure Fermentations
With the popularity of pressurised fermentation it has become increasingly important to have a method of regulating and controlling this residual pressure from the fermentation process. The BlowTie has been designed specifically for this reason.
Pressure Transfers
When transferring from keg to keg, keg to bottle, or fermenter to keg it is often a good idea to have head pressure in the keg you are filling into especially if you are transferring a beverage that is carbonated. For this reason the BlowTie can consistently control this head pressure giving you more consistent results and without losing carbonation in the process.
Traditional spunding valves that use a simple spring against a seal are flawed right from the beginning as the physical aspects of the design dictate that you will have a significant difference between the opening pressure and closing pressure during operation. Brewers have tolerated this imperfection for long enough and now you can control these pressures far more accurately.
The BlowTie has been made completely differently taking advantage of a diaphragm to actuate the sealing mechanism that will release pressure from the pressure vessel with much more accurate control pressure.
Instructions:
Use the yellow adjustment knob to control the pressure coming out of the pressure vessel. Clockwise is higher pressure and anticlockwise is lower pressure. We would recommend gassing a keg to a known pressure e.g. 15psi then attach your BlowTie Kit to the keg and adjust to 10psi.
These gauges are accurate to about 10% of the range of the pressure gauge. So if you use the lowest range possible it will ensure the best possible accuracy.
IMPORTANT WARNING: Do not exceed gauge pressure. If you set a gauge pressure higher than the graduations on the gauge you can damage the gauge. (ie if you are using the 0-60psi gauge. Do not set pressure above 60psi or damage to the gauge may occur.)

The Duotight Inline Regulator - these compact inline regulators have been designed to suit 8mm (5/16") tubing.
Suits pressures 0-150psi however this unit is packed with the 0-60psi gauge as standard. Suitable for mains water pressure, also suitable for liquid or gas.

This rigid 50mm long joiner is made from strong polypropylene. It's useful to make rigid joins with push in fittings that are dead straight. Although it's possible to make joins using short pieces of 8mm OD Evabarrier 5mm Beer Line this is far more flexible and when mounting parts to a gas board or wall its will often make things much neater if you use these instead.
The 50mm length is long enough so even after pushing right into two duotight 8mm fittings on both ends you should still have a exposed length of about 3mm so you can still relatively easily take the fittings apart later.

This really handy device is great for filling kegs, keg to keg transfers or fermenter to keg transfers.
Fantastic for use with Fermentasaurus or other pressurisable fermenters.
Simply attach this device to the output gas post of your Keg then when the keg is full it will prevent further liquid exiting the gas post. This means you can literally set and forget and fill kegs automatically without the risk of kegs overflowing all over the floor.

How frustrating is hops getting blocked in your poppet, tap, ball valves and practically everywhere else. This handy little filter can be used on your silicone floating dip tubes to prevent hops or other solids getting sucked into the dip tube itself. The 304 stainless 80 mesh is fine enough to filter out hops and many other solids but not so fine that it gets blocked up easily. The Gas Ball Lock Post for Keg Coupler is a liquid ball lock post with a female 5/8 inch connection. It allows you to connect ball lock disconnects to a keg coupler making it extremely easy to swap over from a corney keg to a commercial keg (you will need the correct coupler for the keg as well).

This Hop Tube is made from 304 stainless steel and is ideal for addling larger amounts of hop pellets, flowers or spices to your RoboBrew / BrewZilla without blocking the pump. It can also be used in your Brewhouse Kettle/Boiler, 19L corny keg, and the FermZilla.
It cannot fit in a standard 50L Keg as the opening is not wide enough. The fine mesh will prevent large particles from blocking the dip tube, pumps or chillers. This unit has been designed to fit Kegland standard Single, Double and Triple Tap Kegland Kegerator Towers or any other 76mm diameter font.
Keep your beer icy-cold with this insulated tower/font cover right out of the first drop. Most kegerators that we sell include a font fan that blows cold fridge air up the font. With that said heat loss from the stainless font surface causes the font temperature to rise meaning that a small amount of beer contributes to the "first pour foam effect".
These extra thick covers are made from 7mm neoprene, meaning your beer will stay cold even if the hot sun is beating down directly on the font.
This helps save power as your fridge will not be working as hard, and you pay less in power. So this thing practically pays for itself!
How to Install
1. Remove taps from the font. (no need to remove the shank from the font, just the taps).
2. Pull the insulated cooler down over the font.
3. Mark the tap holes and use a sharp pair of scissors to cut a hole in the neoprene jacket.
4. Re-attach the taps.
NOTE: Nail cutting scissors are particularly good for this application, or a 5/8" Hole Punch.
