These 29L stainless steel vessels are designed just like a commercial beer keg but with a large 10cm (4inch) tri-clover opening at the top so you can easily get inside the keg to clean it out. This new 29L size is perfect for doing 20-25L batches so you have a bit of spare head space inside the Kegmenter.
This Kegmenter is bundled with a stainless 4inch tri-clamp ball lock lid which will enable you to turn your kegmenter into a unitank fermenter, and pressurisable so it can also be used as a keg.
The Kegmenter can hold 2.5bar which makes it possible to carbonate and ferment in the same vessel. You can either carbonate naturally with the use of our adjustable pressure relief valve (spunding valve) or if you are using a CO2 gas cylinder you can force carbonate.
Being able to hold pressure also means you can push the beer out of the fermenter directly through a filter or even dispense directly from fermenter to draft beer tap if you wanted to.
The chimes on the Kegmenters have specifically been designed to be taller than normal chimes so they are high enough to give clearance over the stainless posts on the Ball Lock Post Lid. This means the Kegmenters can be stacked. The interlocking stacking chimes means the kegs can be safely stacked up to 4 high.

A dual purpose hop with fresh tropical fruit characters and excellent finish and bitterness
Breeding:
Kohatu® Brand HORT3829 is a triploid aroma type produced through the crossing of a Hallertau Mittlefruh and a New Zealand Male with North American and European parentage. Kohatu® was released from the New Zealand Plant and Food Research hop breeding programme in 2011.
Selection:
Kohatu® has been described as having an intense fresh tropical fruit character during selections and these early sensory evaluations brought this hop to the attention of researchers.
Brewing:
Initial brewing trials displayed a hop of great versatility with excellent stable flavour and aroma impacts. Fruity characters seen in sensory selections had carried through into the finished product, which was very satisfying. Importantly, the real stand out has been the consistency and quality of bitterness in dual purpose applications.
'Excellent flavour and bitterness’
Applications:
Works really well in single hop applications to show case its fruity aroma characters balanced by the extraordinary quality of bitterness. Higher addition rates can really pack a fruit driven punch in bigger beer styles.
Krush Hops: Unleash Bold Flavour & Aromatic Intensity
Developed by the Hop Breeding Company, Krush combines a high alpha acid content (15–19%) with a lush tropical and stone fruit profile, making it ideal for both bittering and late-stage additions.
Krush stands out for its explosive aroma, bursting with ripe mango, peach, apricot, and a touch of zesty citrus, layered with subtle floral and orange blossom notes.
A resinous depth adds a juicy, velvety mouthfeel to IPAs, Pale Ales, or experimental brews, with lingering tropical intensity.
Perfect for whirlpooling, dry-hopping, or bittering—craft hazy IPAs, crisp lagers, or hop-forward creations with confidence.
AROMA PROFILE: BERRY • CITRUS • STONE FRUIT •TROPICAL • WOODY
Lactic Acid is primarily used in brewing to reduce the pH of brewing water to ensure the optimum pH for enzyme activity during the mash.
It may also be used to reduce the pH of sparge water to reduce the risk of tannin extraction.
In Germany, some breweries will maintain lactic fermentations and use the resulting liquid to make pH adjustments during the brewing process without breaking Reinheitsgebot.

LalBrew Farmhouse™ is a non-diastatic hybrid that has been selected to make saison-style and farmhouse style beers. This product is the result of the research and development work of Renaissance Yeast in Vancouver BC, Canada. LalBrew Farmhouse™ was selected using the most advanced breeding techniques. The Renaissance research team used classical and non-GMO methods to remove the STA1 gene, responsible for the diastatic activity of Saison yeasts. Care was taken to retain normal brewing sugar utilisation to produce dry saisons. Additionally, the patented technology from University of California Davis (USA) ensures that the strain will not produce sulphurous favours, therefore enhancing the saison yeast aroma characteristics.

LalBrew Köln® is ideal for brewing traditional Kölsch-style beers and other neutral ales. The neutral character of this strain accentuates delicate hop aromas while imparting subtle fruity esters. Through expression of a beta-glucosidase enzyme LalBrew® Köln can promote hop biotransformation and accentuate hop flavour and aroma. Colder fermentations will be more neutral in character, while warmer fermentations will have more fruit-forward ester profile.

LalBrew London™ is a true English ale strain selected for reliable fermentation performance and moderate ester production that lets the flavours and aromas of malt and hops shine through. LalBrew London™ was selected from the Lallemand yeast culture library, and is an excellent choice not only for brewing Extra Special Bitter but for other authentic heritage UK styles like Pale Ale, Bitter and Mild. LalBrew London™ may also be used in the production of Ciders.
LalBrew London™ does not utilise the sugar maltotriose (a molecule composed of 3 glucose units). Maltotriose is present in wort in an average 10-15% of all malt worts. The result will be fuller body and residual sweetness in beer. Be advised to adjust gravities and mash temperatures according to desired result.

Through expression of a β-glucosidase enzyme, LalBrew NovaLager can also promote hop biotransformation and accentuate hop flavour and aroma making it an ideal candidate for hoppy lagers.
Brewing Properties
In Lallemand’s Standard Conditions Wort at 12°C (53.6°F) LalBrew NovaLager™ yeast exhibits: Vigorous fermentation that can be completed in 6 days.
High Attenuation and Medium Flocculation.
Aroma and flavour are clean with low to medium esters, no sulphur. This strain is POF negative.
The optimal temperature range for LalBrew NovaLager™ yeast when producing traditional styles is 10 – 20°C (50 – 68°F).
Lag phase, total fermentation time, attenuation and flavour are dependent on pitch rate, yeast handling, fermentation temperature and nutritional quality of the wort.

Kveik is a Norwegian word meaning yeast. In the Norwegian farmhouse tradition, kveik was preserved by drying and passed from generation to generation. Kveik is the original, traditional dried yeast!
The LalBrew® Voss strain was obtained from Sigmund Gjernes (Voss, Norway), who has maintained this culture using traditional methods since the 1980s and generously shared it with the wider brewing community.
LalBrew® Voss supports a wide range of fermentation temperatures between 25-40°C (77-104°F) with a very high optimal range of 35-40°C (95-104°F). Very fast fermentations are achieved within the optimal temperature range with full attenuation typically achieved within 2-3 days. The flavour profile is consistent across the entire temperature range: neutral with subtle fruity notes of orange and citrus. Flocculation is very high producing clear beers without filtration or use of process aids.

Flaked Maize consists of maize grits that have been torrefied at high temperatures, resulting in gelatinisation of the starchy endosperm, and then flaked. It is ready to add to the mash tun, requiring no cereal cooking, but without any enzymes of its own it must be mashed with malted grains for starch conversion to take place.
Flaked Maize lightens wort and can add a unique corn flake-like sweetness beers. It lowers protein and tannin levels in the wort and will therefore thin the body of the beer as well as reduce the potential for haze.
