Infrared Thermometer Gun -50C to +580C (Black)
This thermometer gun has a built-in Dual laser that can be switched On and Off. Dual laser is an important feature when choosing infrared thermometers because it allows for much higher accuracy of readings. When measuring an object a Dual Laser will help greatly in finding the convergence point of the measured target and the spot ratio, which can only be achieved with Dual Laser.
Features:
- Double Laser pointer for accurate target aiming
- Simple one-handed operation
- Laser ON/OFF Switch
- Low battery indication
- LED backlight system for operation under poor illumination
- C° / °F temperature unit conversion
- Automatic Power off in 15 seconds without any operation
- Display hold, scan function
Note:
1. When using this product to measure temperature, consider the ratio between the distance (the length from the product to the measured object) and the size of the measurement area, referred to as the object distance ratio. When the distance between the product and the measured object increases, the measurement area will increase accordingly.
2. If you want to use boiled water to measure the quality of the product, please note that when measuring boiling liquids, do not allow smoke or water vapour to contact the temperature sensing area, and keep the measurement angle at 45 ~ 60 degrees.

Gen2 - 2400W Power Station 240V - Power Controller
The new and improved Generation 2 - 2400 watt Power Controller. Suitable for homebrewers, distillers and any other means of power wattage adjustment up to 2400 watt (standard 10 amp). If you do not know if your electrical device can be reduced in power without failing, contact the manufacturer or an electrician.
We highly recommend using this product with our 2200w Weldless Element. We do not recommend plugging this unit into anything higher than a 10amp plug. Therefore you cannot use a 3600w tri-clamp element with this unit. We should also point out that if you do use this on a BrewZilla or Digiboil, that you will only be able to reduce 10-30% worth of power before the display turns off. Once the display turns off, so do the elements.
Please note; we recommend using x1 element only per Power Station Controller. If you are looking to use multiple, please ensure you have multiple Power Controllers on different circuits. If you are unsure please ask an electrician or trained professional. DO NOT EXCEED 2400W WITH THIS CONTROLLER!

Protafloc granules is a granular carrageenan product which is added to wort in the kettle to enhance protein removal as the wort cools.
Benefits
- Natural product which removes substantial quantities of haze forming material without affecting head retention
- Produces brighter worts, reducing the amount of finings required later
- Increases rate of fermentation and attenuation
- Increases filter runs
- Prolongs shelf life in small pack beers
Application
Protafloc Granules should be added to the kettle ten to fifteen minutes prior to the end of the boil or to the whirlpool if this is not possible. This allows the powder to dissolve and disperse the carrageenan into the wort. Should Protafloc be added early in the boil, degradation of the polymer may occur and product efficiency is lost. The reaction between wort proteins and carrageenan is pH dependant and occurs at an optimum pH of 5.3. Below pH 4.4, the reaction does not occur and little benefit is gained from using Kettle finings.
Dosage
The usual dosage rate is 0.0075g - 0.048g per litre of wort. This equates to 0.18g - 1.15g for 24 litres of wort.
These raw, untoasted chips are made from American white oak and deliver the wood’s natural character: bold coconut-like notes and a distinctive dill-herbaceous lift driven by oak lactones.
In their raw state they contain no free vanillin, so sweet vanilla is absent unless the chips are later toasted. The chips also carry a high load of water-soluble ellagitannins that can contribute firm structure, but their rapid extraction demands careful management to prevent harsh, drying astringency. A pre-boiling step is essential to temper the most aggressive tannins and allow the clean coconut and dill profile to shine.
For distillers, this provides a structured base that can later be built upon through the use of toasted oak if desired. The chips also add coconut depth and a firm tannic backbone to full-bodied red wines, dark strong beers, dry ciders, and traditional meads.
User Guide
-
Important: Raw oak tannins are harsh if used untreated. Always boil the chips in water for 10 minutes and discard the water before use. This step removes the most astringent water-soluble compounds while preserving the characteristic coconut and dill.
-
Spirits: Use 10–15 g per litre of spirit, post-boil. Age for 2–6 weeks, tasting every 3–4 days. If vanilla sweetness is desired, remove the chips after initial aging, dry them, and toast them in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes before returning them to the spirit.
-
Beer: Add 2–3 g per litre during secondary fermentation, boiled. Coconut and dill notes come forward quickly; taste after 5 days.
-
Wine: Add 1–2 g per litre during bulk ageing, boiled. Short contact times (1–2 weeks) are typical to avoid over-extraction.
-
Cider & Mead: Use 1–2 g per litre after primary fermentation, boiled. Adds structure and a coconut undertone; monitor closely to avoid astringency.
-
Single use only. Store in a cool, dry place.

Make your own authentic premium Gins! Our thoughtfully curated botanical packs are designed to replicate the distinct flavours of popular gin styles. Ideal for use with a gin basket to craft top-quality gins, mimicking the procedure used in commercial distilleries.
London Dry Gin will produce a traditional dry gin flavour, similar to Gordon’s London Dry Gin
Instructions:
- Pour approx. one-third of the botanicals into 2.5L of ~40% ABV spirit and allow them to soak for up to 24 hours. (Note: Soaking in higher-strength spirit, such as 90+% ABV, can extract harsh or off-flavours from the botanicals, so it’s important to stick to ~40%.)
- After soaking, strain out the botanicals and pour the flavoured spirit into your boiler. Top up with cold water to the MAX fill line.
- Place the remaining botanicals into a gin basket and attach it to your condenser.
- Begin distillation. You should collect approximately 2.25L at an average strength of ~40% ABV. The spirit will initially come off at around 70–75% ABV, gradually decreasing as the run progresses. The main “hearts” cut typically comes off between 30–50% ABV. Stop collecting once the boiler temperature reaches 98°C.
Note: We reference ~40% ABV here because if all collected distillate was combined in one jug, the overall average strength would be close to 40%. However, we recommend collecting in separate fractions—heads, hearts, and tails—to allow for better control over flavour and quality.
